Nonuniformisable Foliations on Compact Complex Surfaces
We give a complete classification of holomorphic foliations on compact complex surfaces which are not uniformisable, i.e., for which universal coverings of the leaves do not glue together in a Hausdorff way. This leads to complex analogs of the Reeb component defined on certain Hopf surfaces and certain Kato surfaces. 2000 Math. Subj. Class. 32J15, 37F75, 57R30.

متن کاملPersistent laminations from Seifert surfaces
We show how an incompressible Seifert surface F for a knot K in S can be used to create an essential lamination LF in the complement of each of an in nite class of knots associated to F . This lamination is persistent for these knots; it remains essential under all non-trivial Dehn llings of the knot complement. This implies a very strong form of Property P for each of these knots.
متن کاملStability for certain subclasses of harmonic univalent functions
In this paper, the problem of stability for certain subclasses of harmonic univalent functions is investigated. Some lower bounds for the radius of stability of these subclasses are found.
